Map of the The Blancmange & Thistle (of my own design)
Hello again, my Astral Goat Folk.
I trust the Humpbacked Sky has been merciful, and that you were wise enough to bring sufficient sandwiches for what lies ahead.
This is my current work in progress of the exterior of the Blancmange & Thistle, as imagined in my Troika setting. It’s definitely not finished and will likely change, but I thought I’d share it with the community anyway.
I wanted the space to feature golden barges, towering structures, stone statues, and lavish water features. The colour filtering on the map gives it a surreal, dreamlike quality that brings in the Troika style. Gotta love clouds and ominous fading statues as well. As well as an unsettling teletubbies sun!
This is still an early work in progress, so elements may change (in fact I am sure there will be several version - may even a hand drawn version oooo~ who knows). I’m also planning to design top‑down, old‑school dungeon layouts for the interior floors and spaces within the building, thank you Mr Sell for getting Mega Dungeon on my mind.
